If you’re looking a white-toned bracelet that is both beautiful and long-lasting, you should consider platinum. Platinum bracelets are more durable and their color holds true regardless of wear. However, you may end up paying more for platinum. Let’s take a closer look at the pros and cons of platinum bracelets.

Platinum is a good choice for bracelets because it is more durable than gold. Because they are worn on your wrist, bracelets tend to be susceptible to more damage. The world is full of surfaces that aren’t very friendly to soft precious metals like gold. The chances of swinging your arm and hitting something that could scratch or dent your bracelet are pretty high. Platinum can stand a lot more wear and tear than white gold.

Platinum bracelets are preferred over white gold for their color longevity as well. White gold is not really natural; it is accomplished by mixing a variety of metals and adding a coating of rhodium. Over time, the rhodium can wear off and your white gold will start to look more yellow. Platinum has a long-lasting white finish without the need for alloys or coatings. This means that the look you wanted in the first place will last a long time without the need for any sort of maintenance.

If you are comparing platinum bracelets to white gold on the basis of cost, you will find that platinum is more expensive. There are two reasons for this. First of all, platinum is rarer than white gold; that is, there is more gold in the world than there is platinum. Second, platinum is more difficult to work with, so there are higher labor costs involved in making platinum bracelets and other jewelry. Of course, the prices of jewelry can vary widely depending on where you purchase it. For example, if you buy platinum bracelets from on online retailer or at an auction site like eBay, they would probably cost less than white gold bracelets purchased from a retail jewelry store.

lately I heard a good discussion about investing in precious metals. I agree that, although gold is the big thing at the moment, other precious metals can be eqauly as powerful to own as is gold. Espacially metals that are valued for other uses other then just jewelry. For instance, Platium has a much larger spectrum of uses other then just jewelry. I beleive this may even give platinum more leverage power in the future then gold. What are your thoughts on this?

My other big question is how would I go about perchasing platinum? Where do I buy it? Pure platinum? I live in the Seattle, Wa area.

thank you for you answers.

I have had an interest in precious metals for a few years. I enjoy their beauty and, more importantly, their worth. My latest investment has been in platinum bars. Platinum is an extremely rare precious metal. It is worth twice as much as gold. One gram of platinum can cost around one hundred dollars. But I have found that platinum is a sound investment. Because it is rare and the demand is high, platinum is likely to continue to rise in value. Over time, should I decide to sell my platinum, I will be able to make a hefty profit.

I have found that buying small bars is easier for me when it comes to storage. The size is small enough that I am able to keep the bars at home, in a safe place. I also make sure that I purchase my bars from a reputable dealer. There are shady dealers in the world of precious metal trading that will sell impure bars or fraudulent bars. Careful research before any platinum purchase has ensured my continued success in buying platinum.

The price of platinum bars has been steadily on the rise. With an ounce being worth well over $2000, I feel secure in the knowledge that my investments are going to only increase in worth. I have no plans of selling my bars soon because they are going to belong to my children in the future. This rare precious metal has proven to be an investment in not only my financial security, but also that of my offspring.

The grace and elegance of platinum engagement rings is admired by many, including myself. I do not have any platinum jewelry, but I plan on buying at least one piece of platinum jewelry soon. I believe that platinum has become the new gold on the retail market. It has a higher value than gold and is much rarer than any other precious metal. Engagement rings can be bought in a variety of metals and stones, but I feel that platinum adds more to the ring in terms of monetary value and appearance than other metals.

I have come across many online dealers that would be more than willing to take my money if I purchased a platinum ring from them. But I want to make sure that the ring I buy is one of high quality, one that has the highest level of pure platinum. Pure platinum is very strong and it does not lose its shine the way that white and yellow gold can. The strength means that a ring will last a lifetime and not wear down. These are important factors to me because I work with my hands and I need a ring that will stand up to difficult conditions.

I realize that platinum engagement rings can come with a higher price than rings made out of other precious metals. When I do buy my ring, or my significant other buys it, I know that I will be paying more, but that I will be getting top quality jewelry. This is important to me because I consider platinum to be an investment, even in the form of jewelry. Its value increases every year and this could make a small investment now in a platinum ring lead to a ring that is worth twice as much in a few years.

I have discovered several interesting things about platinum metal that I did not know. I wanted to learn about precious metals because I am going to have a ring designed for myself. During my research, I came across this information and it has helped me to make up my mind. I found that platinum has all of the features that I was looking for in a metal for my ring. I will definitely be having my ring designed out of platinum.

Platinum is the rarest precious metal that exists today. It is also much more valuable than gold. I was under the impression that gold was the most expensive precious metal, so this was news to me. Platinum is also very durable, meaning that it withstands scratches, bumps, bending, and other normal wear and tear. It keeps its shininess, even after years have passed by. This is important to me because I have a white gold ring that I love but it needs to be polished back to its original condition. Knowing that I will have a ring that does not lose its luster is very important to me.

I also learned that platinum metal is expensive. I was a little worried about this at first, but I have decided that the ring is an investment. It is something that I intend to keep for the rest of my life. It will eventually be handed down to my children. So, the price is not an issue for me after looking at the big picture. I am willing to pay more for something of high quality. Platinum is a beautiful metal and it produces gorgeous pieces of jewelry. I am happy with my decision to have my ring made out of platinum.

Platinum or White Gold: Which is Better?

The decision to purchase platinum or white gold is one that I weighed very carefully. I knew that there were differences between the two; I just did not realize the specific details. I did some research on line about platinum and the benefits of it. Then I researched the same about white gold. I was actually surprised by the results that I found when I made a comparison of the two precious metals. They may look alike on the outside, but they are two very different metals.

The first difference I discovered was the color. Platinum is naturally almost white in color. White gold is gold mixed with other white metals. It is actually light grey in color and is coated with a plating to make it look white. This plating will eventually wear off and the jewelry will need to be coated again. With platinum, I do not have to worry about the white wearing off because white is the natural color. I also found differences in durability. White gold is not very durable and will show signs of wear over time. Platinum, on the other hand, is quite strong and will last for a very long time, with little signs of wear. This makes platinum jewelry good for heirloom pieces.

The last thing I looked at when deciding between platinum or white gold was price. Unfortunately, I have to pay a higher price for the better features that platinum offers. Platinum is very rare and is more expensive than gold. The same white gold piece and platinum pieces had a very significant difference in price. My ultimate decision was to go with the platinum because it seemed like the better overall investment.

When thinking about investing, I try to look at the history of the item I am considering investing my money in. I have made several investments over the years and have found that investing in precious metals is the most profitable for me. My preferred precious metal is platinum. A look at the platinum price over history has proven to me that it is a fairly solid investment. Platinum is such a rare metal and in such high demand that the price has increased steadily. There are ups and downs in any given year, but this is true for most precious metal investments. Gold is more stable than platinum, but platinum is worth much more than gold.

I invest in platinum bars and coins. I have a nice collection of bars and coins in my home, which is nice because I am able to keep track of my investments myself. This is also a little scary because these are dangerous times we live in. But, overall, my investments in platinum have always gotten me a large return. I will continue to invest in this most precious metal until the market demonstrates a steady decline in price.

Looking at another aspect of platinum price, I also own several pieces of platinum jewelry. The price on buying platinum jewelry over other types of jewelry is significantly higher. But just like the bars and coins are an investment, so is my jewelry. I might or might not sell it someday, but as it stands right now, if I did sell it, I would still make a nice profit. The price of platinum may be high compared to other metals, but the value of platinum on the market makes it a worthy investment.
